3. Data collection on this website

Cookies and consent tool. This website uses cookies and comparable technologies. They are used on the basis of your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR, § 25(1) TTDSG) via our consent tool. You can withdraw your consent at any time with effect for the future.

Server log files. When you access the website, the following data is automatically recorded: browser type, operating system, referrer URL, host name, time and IP address. This data is processed exclusively to ensure technical operation and is deleted after 14 days.

4. Contact and newsletter

Contact form / email. When you contact us, your details are stored for processing. Processing takes place under Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR (performance of a contract) or (f) (legitimate interest).

Newsletter. We use the service Mailchimp (Intuit Inc., USA). Mailchimp is certified under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework. Your email address and name are transmitted there. You can unsubscribe at any time via the unsubscribe link.

5. Processing in connection with events

To organise our events, personal data (participant name, contact details, GPS tracking data) is processed. This processing takes place under Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR (performance of a contract).

GPS tracking. Tracking is mandatory and serves safety and the display of results. The display is permanent on the website. If you do not wish to be published, a nickname can be chosen.

6. Photo and video recordings

During events, photos and videos may be taken. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest in public relations and documentation). An objection is possible in writing at any time. Content already published will not be deleted retroactively.

7. Social media

We maintain profiles on Instagram, Facebook and Strava. For these profiles we are jointly responsible together with the operators (Art. 26 GDPR). When you visit these pages, personal data may be processed by the platforms. Further information can be found in the privacy policies of the respective providers.

8. Hosting

This website is hosted by Hetzner GmbH. The host processes IP addresses and communication data as part of order processing (Art. 28 GDPR).

9. Google Analytics (GA4)

This website uses Google Analytics 4, a web analytics service of Google Ireland Limited (Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland). Google Analytics uses cookies or comparable technologies to analyse the use of the website. The information collected is generally transferred to and stored on Google servers in the USA.

We use IP anonymisation, so that your IP address is shortened within the EU before transmission. Processing takes place on the basis of your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR, § 25(1) TTDSG). We use Rank Math SEO to optimise the website’s visibility. No personal data is passed on to third parties. Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR.
